Defending Durham Community Fundraiser

What an incredible event in 2025! The Durham Heroes Fundraiser Tournament was a huge success thanks to the amazing support from our community, players, sponsors, and viewers like you. Together, we raised vital funds for Durham’s public schools, our city’s first responders, and those communities recovering from tragedy. The energy, teamwork, and generosity were inspiring from start to finish. We’re so grateful for everyone who donated, volunteered, and tuned in.

Now for 2026, the excitement is building for the Second Annual Defending Durham Community Fundraiser Tournament. This year, we’re coming back even bigger. This year we’re proud to once again bring the community together to support amazing local organizations including the Durham Public Schools Foundation, the Durham Police Department, and the Preston's League. Get ready for more gaming, more community moments, and more opportunities to make a real difference for kids and families across Durham. From exciting tournament matchup between local teachers and police officers to inspiring stories and community support, this year’s event is all about coming together for a great cause and you don’t want to miss it!
