The Timeline

2017

Our first event called the DBAP Gaming Challenge which took place inside the Durham Bulls Atletic Park.

2019

We create the Triagle Esports Championship (TEC) and host our first TEC event in the Downtown Durham Armory

2020

In Feburary, before the shutdown, we host our second TEC event in partnership with Cary, NC.

2020

TEC becomes Bull City Gaming and continues online tournaments with the community in partnership with the Durham Sports Commission and NC Amatuer Sports.

2020

In Partnership with the the Town of Cary NC, Cary Esports is created to run Online games with the community.

2021

In partnership with the Town of Wake Forest, Battle in the Forest is created to run regular online tournaments with the community.

2024

In partnership with NC Amatuer Sports/Body Armor Stae Games, the Gohon Kumite is created as their esports wing.

2025

Worked with local community organizations to create the Defending Durham Community Fundraiser! The focus of the fundraiser is to showcase and raise money for local orginizations that offer free opportunities for kids.

2025

Working with the veteran crew behind ECGC and multiple other talented individuals in the field, Durham’s very own home grown self funded expo is created, Future Fest Connect. The inaugural event will take place April 21-22, 2026!
