Janie Hughes

Janie is the CEO & Co-Founder of Bingo Bard, a web-based social gaming platform that transforms events and shared experiences with custom bingo games that drive engagement and connection. Janie is a Women in Games Ambassador and former Chair of the IGDA NC-Triangle Chapter, where she relaunched and scaled a previously dormant community into an active regional hub. She is also a frequent speaker at global industry events, with a focus on community building, leadership, and inclusive innovation in gaming.

In her spare time, she enjoys cranking the music to 11, side quests to the beach, obsessing about Star Wars, riding roller coasters, and playing couch co-op games with her husband and 2 teenage boys. She is very proud of her Beat Saber skills and challenges anyone brave enough to battle her.
